Utilizing Matterport Technology After a Fire Loss

When you are looking to buy a house and search through Zillow or Realtor.com, they typically have photos throughout the home and sometimes a virtual tour option. Did you know that SERVPRO of Flower Mound/Lewisville staff are equipped with the same technology? 

When a customer calls with a fire loss, the first step we take in the restoration process is to perform a Matterport scan of the property. This allows us to capture the damage caused, the contents within the home, and an accurate detail for the scope of work to discuss with the property owner and insurance company. 

The scan provides a virtual tour of the home which is beneficial for scope review and estimate approvals, documentation of non-restorable items, and a faster view of the property for the adjuster prior to them being able to schedule an onsite visit.
