Our CSC program is designed to provide our communities with a way to know that a structure has been cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected to minimize harmful pathogens. If a structure is sanitized and disinfected as part of the CSC program, signage will be provided to display on a window to let everyone know it was sanitized and disinfected.

Commercial Warehouse Experiences a Water Loss

Our team was called out over the weekend to assist a local Flower Mound commercial facility with their water loss. The owner of the business was going in to take care of a few things and check in when he opened the front door to find water covering the carpeted floor. Water flowed throughout their warehouse, office, and reception area causing a little bit of panic!

We were contacted and onsite fast to begin the restoration process. After quite a bit of extraction, we walked the customer through the entire process and made sure to answer all of his questions. Our team placed drying equipment throughout the facility, monitored the drying process throughout the weekend, and completed the drying in just a few short days. Thank you for trusting our team to restore your business back to preloss condition!

Commercial Water Restoration

Being able to perform emergency restoration services and help those in need is very rewarding! We travel all over the metroplex however, our home is in Flower Mound and Lewisville. We were fortunate enough to have our neighbors give us a call when they experienced a loss in their office! 

Now if you haven't been to this office, they have dark green and navy carpet throughout their facility so you aren't really able to get a good look at the water damage. The photo attached shows boxes in their storage room that have soaked up the water about halfway up! Over the years they have seen us coming and going and have been lucky enough not to require our services. As soon as they saw the water they knew who they could trust to restore their property! 

Using a Portable Fire Extinguisher

Fire Extinguisher PASS Method Educate yourself prior to a loss happening.

A portable fire extinguisher can be a life and property saving tool when used correctly. In order to operate a fire extinguisher, the NFPA suggests remembering the word PASS.

  • Pull the pin. Hold the nozzle pointing away from you and release the locking mechanism.
  • Aim low. Point the fire extinguisher at the base of the fire.
  • Squeeze the lever slowly and evenly. 
  • Sweep the nozzle from side to side. 

Read the instructions on the fire extinguisher and become familiar with them before a fire breaks out. Encourage your co-workers to do the same. Remember, extinguishers do have their limitations! It is also important to ensure you have the correct type of extinguisher for your business. Keep an eye out for our next blog discussing the 5 different classes of fire extinguishers.

Local Shoe Repair Shop Experiences Water Damage

It's Friday morning, only 8 hours until the weekend, and it's going to be an awesome day right? Not for this Lewisville business! 

A local Shoe Repair shop in Lewisville experienced a water damage overnight and came in to find it Friday morning. Luckily for them the majority of the damage was only in their storage room where they keep the most of their products up off of the floor. They gave our office a call and we were out within 15 minutes to provide emergency restoration services. They were able to continue business and after a couple days all was back to preloss condition.
