Being able to perform emergency restoration services and help those in need is very rewarding! We travel all over the metroplex however, our home is in Flower Mound and Lewisville. We were fortunate enough to have our neighbors give us a call when they experienced a loss in their office!
Now if you haven't been to this office, they have dark green and navy carpet throughout their facility so you aren't really able to get a good look at the water damage. The photo attached shows boxes in their storage room that have soaked up the water about halfway up! Over the years they have seen us coming and going and have been lucky enough not to require our services. As soon as they saw the water they knew who they could trust to restore their property!
Using a Portable Fire Extinguisher
Educate yourself prior to a loss happening.
A portable fire extinguisher can be a life and property saving tool when used correctly. In order to operate a fire extinguisher, the NFPA suggests remembering the word PASS.
- Pull the pin. Hold the nozzle pointing away from you and release the locking mechanism.
- Aim low. Point the fire extinguisher at the base of the fire.
- Squeeze the lever slowly and evenly.
- Sweep the nozzle from side to side.
Read the instructions on the fire extinguisher and become familiar with them before a fire breaks out. Encourage your co-workers to do the same. Remember, extinguishers do have their limitations! It's Friday morning, only 8 hours until the weekend, and it's going to be an awesome day right? Not for this Lewisville business!
A local Shoe Repair shop in Lewisville experienced a water damage overnight and came in to find it Friday morning. Luckily for them the majority of the damage was only in their storage room where they keep the most of their products up off of the floor. They gave our office a call and we were out within 15 minutes to provide emergency restoration services. They were able to continue business and after a couple days all was back to preloss condition.

Local CVS in need of Emergency Water Restoration Services
CVS in Flower Mound experienced a water loss. Our team was onsite fast to restore the property to preloss condition!
Our after hours team received a call from a CVS in Flower Mound in need of emergency water restoration services after a bad storm. They dispatched quickly as the store was getting ready to open so the standing water needed to be extracted as soon as possible.
The team arrived onsite, assessed the damage with the onsite manager, and began the restoration process. Standing water was quickly extracted and drying equipment placed. As you can see in the photo we secure all cords for safety reasons not only for the employees but also the customers. In a day and a half everything was completed and the property returned to preloss condition!

Mold Remediation Performed at a Local Lewisville Business
SERVPRO of Flower Mound is licensed with the state of Texas to remediate microbial growth in your home or business.
SERVPRO of Flower Mound was called out to a local business in Lewisville to perform an inspection due to a musty odor. Our crews arrived onsite and performed a moisture inspection with our infrared cameras. These infrared cameras are perfect for when you need to see hidden moisture as they detect heat patterns and reliably measure temperatures to pinpoint the affected areas.
Once the affected areas were taped off to show the scope of work that was needed a small 1x1 exploratory section was removed in order to see what we were dealing with behind the drywall. We found microbial growth and informed the property manager on what the plan of action would be.
A remediation plan was put into place, our crew was very detailed in their process, and we achieved clearance to restore the property back to preloss condition. Check out our Before & After section to see the clean result!
