Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) testing on textiles
The ATP test is a process of rapidly measuring actively growing microorganisms through detection of adenosine triphosphate, or ATP. A swab sample is taken, mixed with solution, and then placed into the test tube for results. Results are received from the test within 15 seconds and may surprise you!
SERVPRO of Flower Mound tests textiles before and after the Esporta Wash System process to ensure those items are returned to our customer at a food grade level. The photo on the left shows the shirt when it was received and although it looks fine, you can see from the test results it was heavily contaminated. The photo on the right shows results after the Esporta Wash Process!
